im new to overclocking and not real sure ive been questionable about it and nothing seems to answer the question i have when you get a stable over clock do you keep it there or set it back to stock or can you eave it constant with a low oc setting

Solution
most people keep the overclock constant, say just on my cpu its 3.4ghz - 3.8ghz turbo on stock but i run my cpu at 4.4ghz for everyday use its stable and have no problems with it and am happy with the temperatures it is on load, you can of course try higher overclocks and run benchmarks or whatever you want to do but its really about finding a nice balance on how high a voltage you use and how fast your cpu will be stable at that voltage and of course not getting too hot
