That's quite a good build i'll give it 8/10. What is your main budget though? Maybe you can downgrade the CPU to 4670k (there's only a 2-3 fps difference between the two) and get a 780 which is a much faster gpu than that one.

You don't need a 4770k for gaming your basically paying an extra $100 for hyperthreading which games don't use. Added a better cooler for overclocking, 750w is more than enough for a sinlge card but not enough for 2, so I switched it to an 850w 80 plus gold rated XFX power supply which is $10 cheaper and IMHO better quality than the Rosewill. Also upgraded the SSD to the newer Samsung EVO.

Windows 7 has less bugs than windows 8 and windows 8 looks better and has a faster startup time.

I have choose to stick with 7, I have been less than impressed by the windows 8 GUI. My most popular request with windows 8 is to make it act like 7(booting to desktop and bringing back the old start button functionality).
