Hi Tom’s Hardware community
I have recently ordered the components for my first ever custom PC.
For my graphics card, I have chosen an MSI GTX 770 OC gaming edition. I have included an image of its IO bracket.
I would like to connect this card to my two Hanns-G monitors, both of which only support a DVI and VGA connection. I know that there are different types of DVI interface, and I believe that the ones on my monitors are DVI-D Dual Link.
Would I be able to connect my single GPU to the monitors using two DVI-D cables? How would I do it? The two DVI ports on the GPU are different, is this an issue?
Preferably, I would like to do this with the use of two separate cables rather than one if this is possible, though of course I am very grateful for any ideas you guys have!
Thank you very much in advance!!
