Hi, well im kinda of sure that this question has been made a bazillion times but I have scoured the web and I had run out of ideas.

The thing is a I have a new build with a NVIDIA GPU on it, and everything is going fine and dandy except for the fact that I'm unable to install the driver for my GPU.
Everytime I try to install the driver, this message appears:
"nvidia driver install cannot find compatible hardware"

What I had already tried:
* Install from CD
* Install the newest ones from the NVIDIA page
* Install several driver options from the NVIDIA page (5 already)
* Install on Safe Mode
* Reset bios to defaults

My System:
* GPU: GIGABYTE NVIDIA GTX 670 4MB OC
* CPU: Intel i5 3570k
* MOBO: GIGABYTE z77md3h
* HDD: WD 1TB @ 7600 rpm SATA6
* Memory: 32GB RAM Corsair Vengeance
* OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (No SP1 yet)

Other considerations:
* Intel HD device is listed as Graphics processing in Device Manager
* GPU isn't listed on Device Manager

Thanks in advance for any help or tips, and i will appreciate any answer. Also, apologies for any crappy grammar or orthography, bear in mind that English is not my native language.

As far I can tell, Intel HD is already installed.
How do I check if the GPU is detected by the BIOS?

At Bios setup, it doesn't seem to show if there is a GPU installed/detected, it only shows the configuration for internal Graphics card (it shows the Intel HD)... while on it, i double checked if the GPU was correctly placed and wired to power and it was correctly placed at its slot... Both the 8 pin and the 6 pin connectors of the GPU are wired and the GPU fans spin when i turn on the computer...

BTW, PSU is a Blazar AF-B600P of 600 watts (NVIDIA power recommendations were on about 550 watts)...

Problem persists, any more suggestions are very appreciated.

i been looking at the psu specs and it does not have any pci-e cable so your are connect to it with the molex splitter this could be why the gpu is not detected not receiving enough power ,try to check your gpu in another with a psu that have pci-e cable connector and it should work .

Hi - I have a similar mobo, what i did when I installed my gpu was I went into BIOS
& disabled IGPU & made priority (enabled) pcie graphics. You shouldn't have to disable
IGPU (the mobo should detect a discrete GPU, but not all do), but it worked for me.

You can try making some changes in the installation files and install it very easily. This process is a little tricky, but you can do it yourself with the help of this tutorial: http://www.igadgetsworld.com/how-to-nvidia-graphics-dri...
