I have built my gaming computers twice, but for the first time I wanna get a pre-built computer to see how it turns out. PLEASE, don't tell me that I should build mine! And I don't wanna talk about the brand's quality itself, I wanna talk about the specs it has. Will they keep up with the next generation of gaming? (Battlefield 4, CoD Ghosts, Outlast, etc). Thank you very much!

I AM LOOKING FOR AT LEAST 30 OR 40 FPS WITHOUT IT GOING DOWN TO 20!

More about : pre built gaming computer good

Well if it's a normal GTX 660, then that's the problem. The rest of the pc is just fine but that 660 will only play games on high at 1080p. I know it can handle BF3 as I have one in another pc, but BF4 might drop the settings to medium... Maybe you can upgrade the 660 in a years time or something?

Ill say Dont buy this pc
Reasons: the graphic card is a bit weak- wont run BF3 smoth on high (mp ofc)
+ as the guy above sed - the CPU wont worth the money. Get a Haswell i5 and youll thank me

Extremely over priced for what you get. Not to mention an i7 for gaming... Games barely use 3-4 cores... By the time more cores is standardized enough to make it worth while for developers to invest the time into making there games optimized for it, something better will be out anyways. (not including horrid PC ports from consoles, but I doubt those will be a problem anyhow)

At least thats my opinion on that.

A PC with 16gb ram, Ivy i7, 660 for 1,200. I suppose it will be fine for BF4/cod ghosts/outlast, just don't expect anything over medium settings. Except maybe CoD. CoD doesn't usually require much.

I realize that you don't want to hear it but I'll say it anyways. You can save 3 to 4 hundred bucks by building it yourself.

(300 CPU / 200 GPU / 100 mobo / 100 PSU + case / 50-70 bucks HDD / 100 windows / 100 ram)

You could save a bit more (around 150) by going with an i5 (200) + 8gb of ram (50) and it will perform exactly the same.

Sorry about the build up, its kind of habit.

cmon man, he said he didn't want to build one, you gata respect that. Also, your build didn't include SSD(100) water cooling(200-500) also a decent PSU+case would be at least 150-300, so its hardly "extremely overpriced" and its professionally assembled/tested

The graphics is a little weak, but you would be able to play next gen games on low settings (maybe better). And i am fairly sure i7 is better for gaming.

And, I have heard good things about that brand.

All in all, not that bad of a price, in the future you def could upgrade the GPU, but the i7 should be good for at least 2-3 years I would think
Best buy would not be my first choice place to buy a prebuilt, but it certainly isn't the worst.

Best of luck! =]

Edit: For you're consideration, here are a few more options:
haswell i5, 7850, 8gb
haswell i5, 760, 8gb, win7
haswell i5, 760, 16gb, win 7, water cooling

Your answer was great, don't worry mate. Telling me about building it isn't bad because you gave me an answer rather than just tell me to build it.

I think you would be better off with a gtx770, its about the same price, and I believe is a bit faster

Can you go to the actual IBP site and use their configurator? I think you could at least get a better deal directly off their site, if you don't want to build your own. The important hardware on the one you linked is last-gen.

I'll give you SSD as I missed that one. Though I can guarantee you that the "liquid cooled" they are referring to is just a close loop system and it won't be anything better than an H50, you might see some with an h100 but either way its most certainly not anywhere near your original estimates. The case and PSU I was over estimating on, really.

They skimp on anything they possibly can. Not just them either. I can't find anything listed for the first link, the second though the PSU on that is quite clearly a CX430. Which is 40 bucks (well 20 bucks after mail in rebate) Corsairs CX line isn't bad by any means but its nothing to write home about. The third link has an Xtreme Gamer XG-H600. Other than that and this link: http://www.plugloadsolutions.com/psu_reports/HAPPY%20MU...

I can find no other information on it and have no idea of if its any good.

Oh and I was just informing OP how much he could save if he went the build it yourself route. The choice is his and I won't sway him either way. Just wanted him informed is all.
