I need a new graphics card from the used computer that i bought for $200 it has
Intel Desktop board (from a Gateway gaming system)

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 - 2.5 GHz Quad-Core CPU

Silverstone GD05B Micro ATX HTPC case

SilverStone Strider 500W Power Supply

500 GB Seagate Hybrid Sata 2.5 inch Hard Drive (OS System drive)

300 GB Seagate Sata 3.5 inch Hard Drive

ASUS External USB 2.0 Blu-Ray drive (bundled software included)

4 GB DDR2 RAM

NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 Silent video card (passive cooling)

Fan Controller

Windows 7 Professional Installed Windows 7 Professional Upgrade

DVD for both 32 and 64 bit in original box is included.

So, i'm looking for a new graphics card as i think it is quite outdated. I'm going to play games like battlefield 3, minecraft, and maybe Crysis 3 at medium settings. I think i have only one PCIe 2.0 slot. I don't think noise would be that important unless its obsurdly loud.

I would upgrade your GPU to a GTX 650ti With Boost http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... Now, your next upgrade should be a new CPU+Mobo setup. If you can, get all of this. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1EczB

If price doesn't matter get a 760 or a 7870XT. Your CPU will be a bit of a bottleneck but in games where the CPU doesn't matter much you will be golden.

Right now i'm deciding between a GTX 660 Ti or a GTX 760 and since they are only $20 apart i'm wondering which one would perform better. Plus I only have a 500W powersupply i'm worried that it would be a problem if the graphics card takes too much power.

They are practically equal, the 760 having a slight edge and newer features although I would upgrade your CPU mobo and RAM ASAP.
