I have a i5 2500k with a Hyper Evo 212.

I dropped the fan on the Hyper Evo 212 because it was so loud, and I replaced it with two of these.

But the Hyper Evo 212 doesn't perform so well in a push-pull config. So what's the cheapest solution that I can buy to use these pretty expensive fans with?

Would the Noctua fan be better then the default Hyper Evo 212 fan? Is using 2 Noctua fans degrading performance? What should I do with the spare fan?

Do some tests with one fan, and two, and give us the results: science for posterity!

With that said, I am not sure if there is a heatsink where having a second fan would grant more than just a couple degrees difference in performance. It would probably have to be 70mm+ thick.

You can always use the spare fan as an extra intake/exhaust for your case?
