I am building my first computer and I was wondering if my motherboard supports DDR3 1600?

Yes. You are obviously building a Haswell based system though and you will do better overall with DDR3 2133 if you can afford it. Haswell likes higher speed RAM. Find some Corsair Vengeance or GSkill Ripjaws X or Z 1.5v DDR3 2133.

The GSkill Snipers and Tridents are good matchups for the Asus Pro, if looking for 1600, would go the Snipers at 1600/9 1.5.....
