is this psu good enough for sli gtx 580?

Hi there. I am not very good at this so here it goes. I have a single gtx 580 and am wondering if I am able to go sli with this psu

This is the same one I have in my rig.
I am unsure about numbers at all. Tried to look online for guides but couldnt find one to explain where to find rails e.t.c for this kind of thing

That power supply would run it, ONLY if it outputted its rated power, which I can guarantee it wont. That PSU will most likely output wattage closer to 500w if that. I would highly recommend replacing that psu as soon as you can with something like an Antec, Corsair, Seasonic, or XFX Power supply. Aim for 750 watts for some headroom, with at least 80+ Bronze Certification.

950w theoretically can run tow 580's in sli.
However, you could get a 750w bronze psu instead from a more reliable looking brand. Seasonic or Corsair are in my opinion some of the best. I wouldn't trust that psu with my graphics cards....

You can either buy a rock-solid psu now, or buy an average/dodgy psu, risk your parts and have to replace it later....
