Try playing Crysis 3 at max settings with 8x AA. You'll see a buttery smooth 18 frames a seconds haha. Try Bioshock Infinite, Battlefield 3, Metro 2033, Metro Last Light, Sleeping Dogs, Far Cry 3, Tomb Raider, Hitman: Absolution. Any of those games on max settings will push your 7950 to it's limits!

Please note that v-sync will also lower gpu usage.

Also, what i5, many of the newer ones are actually very good for games(the older ones had also been good when they came out. I still play some games on my old i5 750, sure some of the newer games do not run as well on it, but its at stock speed too).

3350p Is there any point in disabling vsynch?

No reason to disable vsync unless the input lag bugs you. It removed page tearing. I am just saying games that are not demanding will not use all gpu power with v-sync on.

Unless you are being cpu bottle necked. While the cpu is not top end, it does not seem that bad.

What's the CPU load while this low FPS is occurring?

What is the brand and model of the motherboard?

Which PCI Express slot on the motherboard is the graphics card inserted into?

What is the graphics card's driver version number that you're using?

CPU load around 70%

H77 Asrock mini-itx motherboard

Only 1 PCI-e slot

Latest drivers

I don't see the Intel Core i5-3350P on the ASRock H77M-ITX's CPU Support List.

Download and run GPU-Z to aid in troubleshooting.
