Need to purchase a new machine within the next 2 weeks, with the following requirements:
- Budget around $1,000 or thereabouts (a little flexible).
- 14" screen.
- 1600x900 or 1920x1080.
- 256 ssd minimum.
- 8gb RAM minimum.
- 1.5kg or less.
- Quality build/reliability.
- Decent CPU for web design (not print, nor gaming).
- Good battery life (6+ hours real world use).
Considering Lenovo Carbon X1 refurb, would love to wait for T440s but not sure it will be out in time. Other recommendations?
