Hi! I'm planning to build my first gaming pc on a budget.

My PC specs I chose are the ff:

CPU: AMD FX-6300 (6 cores)
Motherboard: Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0
Memory: Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9 Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1866 Mhz CL9 XMP
GPU: Sapphire 11201-20-20G AMD Radeon HD 7770 OC 1GB GDDR5 Graphics Card
PSU: Corsair Builder Series CX 500 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply Unit
HDD: 1TB Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 3.5" SATA III Hard Drive
Case: Aerocool Strike-X One Screwless Mid Tower Gaming Case

Question: Can I install Windows 8 for the first time? Even if the motherboard has no display port, will the GPU card works as display port while installing Windows 8?

Your motherboard does not have any display output.
You will need to connect your monitor cable to the graphics card.
You have the option of connecting trough DVI, HDMI or mini display port and your graphics card come with DVI-VGA converter in case you have an older monitor.

Will the GPU card still work without a driver installed while installing Windows 8 64-bit? Like you said just plug in the cable through the GPU video ports.
This is compatible? No problems will occur?
Thanks for the answer.

It will work.
When windows is loading setup it will load basic driver for the graphics card to function.
After installation is finish you need to download and install the graphics driver from AMD website.
Make sure you install the necessary drivers included in the CD for your motherboard first before installing graphics driver.
Happy gaming. :)
