I ran Furmark in my Asus K55VM laptop, equipped with Intel HD 4000 and Nvidia GT 630M graphics processors.

I rendered for 2 minutes. At 1366x768 reolution, The 3-D rendering in HD 4000 gave an average of 8 FPS, while the GT 630M gave 9 FPS.

Why is there so little of difference? I thought the GT 630M is powerful enough, even for gaming purposes!

Solution
The 630 is very, very low end on it's own if there WAS a desktop version. The 630M would be even weaker than the desktop one. Laptop stuff will usually be weaker than the PC parts of its equivalent.
