Smoke coming from PC

Usually when you see smoke, it means there was/is a fire of some sort. many times it will be a capacitor that blew. look at all the caps and see if there is a hole in he top of one.
if you had smoke then there is a ruined part that will need replacement.
EDIT: let me rephrase the last sentience: there will be at least one if not more parts that will need replacement.

Hi,
This means the mobo is dead.
Usually the smoke comes out of the PSU.
Look for burnt components on the mobo.
Most of the time this kind of problem may also damage other components.
It would be best to test them one at a time in another computer that is not too important.
