What is the best i7 CPU I can get for FSX for $500? 4 cores or 6 cores?

I am planning to spend around $2500 or so on a rig for FSX and since the simulator is so CPU intensive, I plan to spend a lot on the CPU, up to $500. What is the best FSX rig I can put together with $2500?

And most importantly, what is the best CPU? Is 6 cores better than 4 cores?

Thanks in advance from Sweden and my apologies for my poor English :)

The 3930K hands down, follow this list (enter the parts listed on your preferred computer hardware store, I will adjust the price in case it is too much. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1Exb9

Thank you for your advice! I do appreciate it! :D Do you mind elaborating? Why the 3930K rather than the 4930K or the 4770K?

I am really trying to understand what makes one better than the other in FSX, especially since I also plan to over clock. So what are the advantages of the 3930K? ;)

The 4930K will need a BIOS update and is barely faster. The 3930K has 4 more threads and two more cores over the 4770K that come into use when you play FSX.

Thanks for the clarification. Do you have any idea of what kind of performance increase one can expect in percentage between these two processors? Sorry for asking so much, but you sure do seem to know alot! :)

About 30-40% in well threaded apps.
