I was thinking about building a new system for a friend here are the specs (fits in the 950bgn budget)
CPU:Intel Core I3 3220
MOBO: Asus p8b75-m LE(with a discount and i just like asus quality)
Ram: Kingston hyperx blu 2x4DDR3 1600mhz cl9
HDD: WD Caviar Blue 500GB
PSU: Seasonic s12 II Bronze SS-520GB(520MW)
GPU: Palit NVIDIA GeForce GTX650 Ti Boost 1GB or Gigabyte GTX 650ti 1GB
what GPU would be better

Well obviously the ti boost performs faster than the ti, but are you willingly to pay for it? AMD cards have better performance to price ratios on the budget cards anyway, if you're going to only spend in the 110-140 range I'd reccomend a radeon hd 7750 or 7770.

Not trying to start a red team green team war, but amd simply has better returns on cheap cards

yes red team has more bang for the buck but the difference between 7770ghz and 650ti boost is somewhat minor like 30BGN but also seems like 7790 is not as good as the 650ti boost and the 7790 is 30BGN more than 650ti boost
