I have an ALFA AWUS036NH USB Adapter that fails to install on Windows 8 x64. I've ran multiple versions of the driver and it does all.
I've disabled Driver Signature Enforcement, I have no AVs, and as far as I can tell it should be working.
Device Manager shows the device as 802.11n USB Wireless LAN Card #8 with that yellow triangle. Uninstalling drivers changes that to "Unknown Device". So the drivers do something, just not what is needed to get it working.
Any advice? I believe this is a pretty popular device.
