Hi guys,

I'm building a new CPU maybe in a couple of days.. I can't decide if id go with Intel or AMD.. Any suggestions will surely help me.

Here's the specs:

Processor: AMD FX-8350/FX-6300
or
Intel I5 3570k

MoBo: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P
or
MSI H77MA-G43

Memory: G.SKill Ripjaw 4gbx2 1866 CL9

PSU: FSP Raider 750w 80+ Silver

HDD: Seagate 1tb

Graphics Card: Sapphire HD7850 oc OR Sapphire HD7950

Is this good enough to play Battlefield 3 and maybe BF4? on ultra high settings?

Thank you!

Solution
its simple..both have there own advantages..if you are tight on budget go for AMD..or you have surplus then go for intel..
intel gives you excellent single thread performance over AMD.. AMD is good for multi thread performance..(like rendering stuff and editing)
seeing your case i will suggest you to go for AMD fx 8350 and 7950..that will be best..
note:you wont go wrong either way..if you go with intel or amd.. but for your case AMD is best and i.e 8350..
it will run BF4 on ultra 1080p ..if you pair it with 7950

Thank for the reply man much appreciate it! i see, i think i would go for AMD cause it is cheaper. what's the difference between 1600 and 1866? i thought 1866 is faster than 1600? or am i wrong? Sorry Im newbie with this kind of stuff.. By the way, will the FSP PSU is good enough for my build?

its just the difference of frequency .. but for gaming 1600 is more than enough....
