First of all thank you for you time reading this, I have been stumped for a while,

My problem is my computer doesnt pick up my radeon graphics card anymore, when I go to my display manager it tells me im using my standerd vga graphics adapter and there is no other option when I try to change it,
I have tried downloading drivers but it says they are not compatable because I dont have the graphics card, but I know for a fact I do but its almost like it dissappered, any idea/ suggestion why this has happened? or how i can fix this?

these are my graphics card specifications:

AMD Radeon HD 6470M

Video RAM memory size
512 MB

Thanks again for you time

If you check your "Device Manager" (Right-mouse on computer > Manage > Device Manager (visible in list)) are there any device which don't have drivers installed? (They are recognized by the Yellow warning marks and they are always visible without expanding trees)

Then it would be helpfull if we'd know the brand and model of your laptop
