Hey guys. recently i was wondering if usb devices still work without the little white block thingy.
This is because i saw a razer deathadder for sale on a yard sale, but it lacked the white block part.
no. would yo uthink it would be possible to some way replace the usbcord or something? i really want the mouse and they sold it for 40 euros less than in the stores.

If they open it, what else could they done to it? I would waste your money.

they didnt open it, only broke the little block thing. so if i could completely renew the cord it would be worth the bargain i think. would you think thats possible however?

Like many things in life, how much is your time worth? There are tutorials online on how to repair/replace a USB plug...but is doing so worth less in supplies and your time than 40 euros? Also, that's assuming the mouse is otherwise sound and working.
anything is possible, why don't you bring a laptop in to test?
i guess that would be th smartest thing to do. now i have the problem of them living about an hour drive away, which makes it questionable if it's even worth the effort. thanks anyway for the responses.
