Hi guys

So I've just sorted out a massive issue I had originally when trying to sort out a dual monitor set-up but it has forced me to update everything so no worries on that end. The problem I'm having is a lack of signal into the HDMI monitor.

I have a GeForce GTX260 Graphics card with one adapter for VGA on the (lookig at it) left socket and one for HDMI on the right. I assume the left output is the primary as with both plugged in and no dual monitor enabled that is the monitor that gives a display.
I've played around a bit but I'm unsure what's going wrong. I've extended my desktop to the second HDMI monitor but when I turn it on it counts down to stand-by as it apparently isn't receiving any signal.

Individually they work fine. The HDMI monitor is brand-new

Thanks in advance for help.

Most cards cannot output analog (VGA) and digital (HDMI/DVI) at the same time. Another thing to be careful of, is only the DVI-I port does analog and digital both. The DVD-D port just does digital. I'm not sure which your card has. Both ports may be DVI-I.
