Is my mother board dead?

So I just started installing parts for my first computer. I was getting 0 power at all to the motherboard. I took out the power supply and tested it with my old motherboard and get power to it, the fan turns on and everything, so does this mean I most likely have a DOA motherboard?

I assume you had both connections attached to the board and the power turned on in the back.

And by no power, you mean that it doesnt detect it at all? (like my board has a green light that goes on when it detects power)

Nothing at all what so ever. I tested the power supply with an old MOBO and it powers that up just fine, put it on my current MOBO and nothing, no power detection whatsoever.
