I got my hands on an older 1680x1050p (LG Flatron L225WS) monitor I'm trying to run as a secondary. The primary one is 1920x1080p (Samsung SyncMaster SA300). I'm using a PowerColor 6670 DDR3 1GB. (http://www.powercolor.com/global/products_features.asp?id=372)
The problem is that only the monitor plugged into the VGA port works. The one plugged in the DVI port with an adapter (to VGA) does not turn on and is not being recognized. The adapter and monitors work fine. I spent lots of time searching but can't seem to find the solution.
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
