I'm trying to get a computer in our lab working, but even after 3 HDD's and 4 ghosts, the "BOOTMGR is corrupt" message shows up. Is there anything else that could cause the BOOTMGR to go corrupt?

Fixed: I swapped the motherboard and the machine booted up fine. I suspect it was a BIOS problem. Thanks for the help, all.

The OS was not pre-installed on the HDD's, the ghost software (Symantec Ghost) installed it to the drive.

If I understand your problem correctly, you are trying to restore a disk image made by Norton Ghost, but when you are done restoring the disk image and try to boot the restored computer you are getting the error message that "BOOTMGR is Corrupt? Have I got that right?

You didn't say which OS you are working with. Here is one solution for Windows 7: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/window...

Good luck!
