My computer freezes up out of random it seems. I can only recreate it when playing very demanding games like Splinter Cell Black List. It occasionally happens when I play Team Fortress 2. When it happens in TF2, my game and whole computer freeze up. It's similar to when it crashes, the audio freezes up and it stays on one frame. Also, when it happens, the orange light on the front of my computer blink once a second. Help?

Specs:
600 watt kentek PSU (getting a new one)
8 gigs of ram
Gigabyte GTX 760
AMD Phenom II X4 965
ASUS M4N68T-M V2
1tb HHD Seagate

My PSU is bad, thats why I'm getting a new one. No, I have one 8 Gig stick. And I got my CPU 2 years ago, I don't think 3.4 ghz is too slow and weak.

No. The other person clearly identified it as a HDD problem, not a ram problem. My question was "Why does my computer keep freezing" not "How can I get better performance for my computer?"
