The H87 chipset was designed for consumers, while the B87 was really targeting small businesses. I'd go with the H87.

You can get a rough idea on quality by the reviews on Newegg. The Asus board had 3 reviews: 2 - 5 Egg, and 1 - 1 Egg. The one egg review was due to a problem with dead memory slots.

Evidently the MSI board is more popular as there were 8 reviews. 7 were for 5 Eggs and one was for 4 Eggs. The 4 Egg reviewer had some picky concerns with the way that the SATA ports are laid out on the board. Additionally, One of the supplied MSI programs was buggy for him.
