AMD 8350 Idle temps high

Solution
I would use a few other programs to check the temps, and if they are still high a nice 212 EVO with some Arctic Silver 5 paste and those temps will go down.

I am using a stock cooler and kind of lower end thermal paste, it is not overclocked either

1) What CPU cooler?

2) Do you have front and rear case fans?

3) Is it HOT in your room?

4) Do you overclock the CPU?

5) What program did you use to give you the temperature?

So, it's not necessarily a simple question. I also don't know what the typical ideal temperature is. Maybe someone else does.

Idle temperatures don't tell you as much as you may think.
Full load temperatures, like gaming, or running Prime95 will tell you even more.
I believe your CPU is a Vishera architecture, and shouldn't break 90 degrees at its hottest.

Simple things like case air flow can make a difference. You want a slight negative pressure in the case, so the cooler outside air gets pulled into the case.
Make sure the heat sink is clean and sitting properly
