Recommended system requirements

The recommended PC system requirements for optimal visual quality and frame rates:
•Quad core CPU (Intel Core i5 or i7) at 3 Ghz
•4 GB memory (8 GB for 64-bit operating systems)
•A modern DX11 graphics card with 1 GB of video memory, GeForce 600 series or Radeon 7000 series
•Windows 7 64-bit operating system (Windows 8 is supported as well)
•20+ GB of free harddrive space

straight off their site.

if you want to be sure I would look at something like a GTX770.
Multiplayer will be the unknown as the listed specs will be for single player only.
like with BF3 large Multiplayer maps will demand much more than the recommended specs listed on the box.

30fps is HUGE. If you're okay with playing on medium-low graphics, the 660ti would work - if you want good graphics that'll always run solidly at 60fps, go with the 770.

You'll have to wait until the game is released before you know exactly what you can do, but this is of the Alpha: http://www.bf4blog.com/battlefield-4-alpha-gpu-and-cpu-...

I find it interesting that they ask for 3Gb cards, but the 2Gb on the 690 is the fastest of the bunch. At the settings used in the benchmarks, the minimums are the same on 2Gb cards as the 3Gb cards, so it doesn't appear to require over 2Gb, even though if the card has more than 2Gb, it will use more.
