HDD started making odd noise

HDD started making this odd sound a few weeks ago, it's unlike anything I can find on the web and is wholly concerning me at the moment. http:// there's a link to a video you may need to crank the audio up to hear but any help would be appreciated! thanks!

Get it exchanged. Any noises that don't sound normal on a hard drive should be replaced when it's under warranty or your storing critical data. Chances are you paid good money for it so i wouldn't try to keep it to see if it works for 5 years. The warranty you have on it is there for these reasons :).

Oh well that's good, but as always make sure you back up your data somehow, if it's an OS hard drive i think if you have Windows 7 there should be a backup feature, although you would probably have to go to the Microsoft website to figure out how it works, i never used it before always had other software to make a mirrored copy of the partition. Did you use seatools or HD tune to check the drive out to make sure it's good?

just verified with hd tune and both my drives are ok apparently
