Can someone please tell me if the following cards to RAID 5 and also supports drive over 3TB.

IBM M1050
LSI 9240-8i
LSI 8204ELP
Adaptec 2405

i am looking for a car that will support drives over 3TB i will be creating a raid 5 with 6x3Tb or 6x4Tb drives.

i want something under $200

ibm m5014 is probably the best deal for a real raid5 card and should be close to your price point.

Please make sure you use high quality drives in that raid otherwise you're asking for certain failure just due to the size of the drives. And I'm not implying the drives are made cheap but all drives have a 'stat' called Unrecoverable Read Error and low end drives run at about 1x10^14 which is about 10TB. So with six 3TB = 15TB you are just asking for punishment.

Darn, i have a ELP which i bought for my ibm x3650 7979 to test thought it might be ok,

so Popatim what cards are out there under $200 that does Raid 5 and support over 3TB drives.
i always thought if a card had 64BIT LBA it could do the 3TB drives.

What about the Dell PERC H310
