is my P55-UD4P mobo dead?

I have a Gigabyte P55-UD4P, and have had strange issues with it before where it will not start. It gets a flicker of power and doesn't turn on. First time this started happening, I fixed it by unplugging my DVD-RW drive. Random I know.

Few months later, it started doing it again. I ended up unplugging everything except the mobo and the PSU (an Enermax 535W) and I still cannot get it to turn on - same issue (flicker).

Now, the reason I *think* it is my mobo is because I tried just the 24pin with a 450W Antec that I know works, and it does something slightly different, turns on for 2 seconds, off, and turns on again for 2 seconds and repeats.

I am *hoping* that it is the PSU, but I really expected it to boot up with the 450W,

I tried resetting the CMOS (jumper\batter out for a while) and it's doing the same thing.

Thanks for any help.

Ok, when you go to test without CPU and RAM installed, make sure there is a speaker connected to the mobo either onboard or the small external one that way you get a beep code when you start it up.
One long growling beep or series of beeps = Good.
No beep = Bad.

I'll try that as well, I did use compressed air but maybe not on the power contacts so much.
