i brought xfx nvidia geforce 9500gt 1gb ddr2 in 2012. the problem started about july 2013. while playing games the display goes to black screen and sound is working. and graphics card temperature goes to 110c

Solution

OK so get some working fans to improve ventilation.

As a test you can open the chassis and have a fan blow into the chassis.

what he says, and use GPU-Z free program to measure and log your GPU's temprature.

as last resort i highly recommend taking off the GPU cooler if possible and reapplying thermal paste, remove the old paste first with non conductive liquid.

Then either you need to remove the cooler and re-apply thermal paste or the GPU is already damaged.

Indeed, like i said and this poster is confirming for me, and DONT game in this condition, you will be left with nothing! go do what i said, reapply thermal paste on the GPU.

Only start a game to test and monitor very closely.
