SO i have an old rig,a pretty outdated 6-year-old CPU intel core 2 duo E7300 @2.66 (Overclocked at 3.1 but i had it on 3.66 so i think i can push it to reach that)..
2GB RAM
NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 610 1 GB
WINDOWS VISTA 32 BIT

note that in the last 2 years i have played games which according to minimum system requirements i cannot and went to can you run it..but tryied games and they worked.
for example,i can play far cry 3 even though it needs 4 gb,assasin's creed 3, saintws row iv,sleeping dogs.
i don't care about visuals,i just care if i can run this game..note that i am playing always in 1600x900 resolution

thanks.Your opinions are much aprreciated

the rpoblem there is that saint row 4 was running on a dated engine which was only supposed to utilize 4 croes but can run on 2 aswell, while watch dogs will have a completly new engine, wich by all the looks is optimized for 4core and up, since both last gen consoles will have 8 core cpus

yeah the gpu is far to weak for watch dogs it coulkd be possible that it will launch but that gpu wont allow it to run good enough at any settings , i would say wait till it releases or atleast minimums requirements come out, at this poit i would say that you will have to get a new gpu, but still not sure about the cpu

if you ran ac3 then ac4 should run even better since it will be an up[dated version of the same engine(and ac3 was horribly optimized)

The CPU is hardcore outdated, its about the CPU and ram, saints row 4 is like the easiest graphical game out there.

I also predict in the not far future that dual cores will be just banned and stuff wont start, because of your dual core games are programmed to not start content up at all.

For example lots of AI's are non existent with a dual core, so your missing game content in its whole.

I highly recommend getting a new PC.

I know the feeling man! still pimping my Q6600! :D, even though i have a new one (see description).

You want to play an awesome game like watch dogs in its full experience and AC4 as well! all about experiencing the story! goodluck man if you need any advice feel free to ask.

I built my PC with gta in mind lol, even though its not really ment for gaming.

U can , just that u nid to lower the graphics settings,
Core 2 Duo perform poorly in Sleeping Dogs, keep that in mind.
My Core 2 Duo E8400 with my Radeon HD 6850, can bearly run it with medium settings on 1080p.
If u have a graphics like that , I would recommended u run it on low resolution and kept all the settings on lowest.
It might give a 30fps in game ~

its about this

Quote:
" on the dual core processors but games will still run on them. for instance if you have a dual core for battlefield 3 you have 1 less AI partner "

Now that stuff gets worse and worse, others see a person opening a massive door, for you it opens magicly.

Check this graph:

No you will not be able to run watch dogs
you need to upgrade your OS as well as ram
OS to 64bit &ram to 6GB
GT610 meets the minimum specifications for watch dogs
May be it will run on your PC but 1-3 fps (unplayable)

Hmm Well in my opinion u can't and even if u make it run, u won't be having fun cause it will hang and thats shit. I also have a Core 2 Duo E8400 @3.00Ghz, 4Gb RAM, Nvidia gt 630 2 gb graphics card and believe me it was difficult for me to play AC4 .. It was hanging on 900 x 1600 resolutions and all setting were turned to low or very low.. So i made the resolution 720 x 1280 and that was just FINE not too good and if u check out watch dogs requirement i am sure u would have heart attach considering ur rig. :p ..

he might actually. 720p + 15~20fps is enough for the mainstream to call "playable". they aren't a picky bunch.
