My laptop is smashed and non functional. The HD still looks intact and good. I need to get the data off the HD and on to my 2nd laptop. Is there a cord or external device I can get to read and/or transfer from it to the other laptop? There is a set of two gold prongs on end of the hard drive. Im hoping there's some way to get the info by plugging those prongs into a cord or device. What I'm particularly looking for is information that was backed up using ITunes that can only be accessed thru this HD, and also some important financial information that is on the HD. The smashed computer is an ASUS the 2nd laptop to receive the data is an HP. Thanks!
