hi im currently considering of buying a CPU for my RIG coz i think my current CPU which is a Athlon II x 2 is bottlenecking my ASUS GTX660 OC GPU... any ideas on which one should i get? i currently have a ASUS M5A78L-M LX3 for a MOBO and its AM+3 ready... any help would be highly appreaciated...

and by the way im also confused whether to get a AMD or a Intel CPU.. some says NVIDIA works fine with Intel and some also says it doesnt. i tried checking for posibilities of using an Intel CPU but that mean i would need to change MOBO too coz most of the intel CPU that wont bottleneck my GPU is already using LG1155 sockets...

thats also what im thinking, and im kinda confused about something. some people says NVIDIA works better with Intel CPU's is that true? and will the FX6300 not bottleneck my GPU anymore?

actually, nvidia cards works pretty much the same between cpu's (if the game is gpu intensive which a lot of them are). if one card works better with intel, its definitely because intel's cpu are generally faster and not because nvidia's card are having conflicts with the amd chip.

oh i see.... so its not because the part is incompatible its just that one is faster than the other... am i right? so that notion that the Intel CPU's are better paired with NVIDIA GPU's are not true. so the best bet for my new rig is getting an FX6300 CPU so its not gonna bottleneck my GPU right?

nope.. not the cost but the kind of UPS i should get incase a power outage happens i would still be able to shut down my PC safely. not familiar with the UPS portion but i think they categorize it via VA's? like a battery backup so incase theres a power outage my RIG wont be affected.

hi i tried checking the specs of the AMD Vishera FX-6300 CPU and it says on the amd website that it supports ddr3 1866. does it mean it supports ddr3's thats lower like the one on mine now. im using 2 ddr3 1333 4GB kingston. will it work on that too?
