6500GT? How old is this system? Look over the motherboard for swollen or leaking capacitors. Google "bad capacitors" for some images.
But yes, the actual brands/models of the CPU, motherboard, and PSU may help. Make sure nothing loosened when you re-installed, like your RAM or any drive cables.
