So I had a rough time installing my H60 watercooler and eventually just went back to my evo 212, i forgot to plug the PCi-e power plug to the graphics card and it started to spark... LMAO... eventually i was like eh... and plugs it in... i the tip of the plug has a little 2 marks... really small like a bug bite
eventually i ran the PC and viola... nothing happened... im more worried about the after effects... it just smells like burnt plastic but after 1h of running it was gone.... should i be worried?.... YES i am using the same PC to type this question...

No. Your PC is fine(I'm assuming that only the power plug was burnt). The only concern you should have is about the watercooler. Unless there was a leak or condensation was building up on the outside of the pipe(definitely a bad thing) the plug shouldn't have released a charge like that. I'm guessing that it was a one-time incident if your computer seems fine like this(perhaps simply a minor manufacturing defect that rectified itself). No real cause for concern. Just keep an eye out.

You probably should have plugged it in when it was off, but if it works, it works.

just case problems; my current case had bad fan placements so i just went back to old Hyper Evo 212; going to use the H60 on my MATX board.
