Hi everybody :
From the research that I've done, RealTek ISN'T going to work. I found out that RealTek Sound Chip only produces 2-channel sound (not 2.1 sound). Plus, between the RealTek software(drivers) and the sound chip, your front audio panel will not work. It was designed that way. It's a flaw in the way it works.

There is no such thing as 2.1 sound. It's just regular stereo sound with the speaker crossover sending lower frequency to the subwoofer. It's like looking for two door car gas, you don't buy different gas just because your car has less or more doors. 4.1, 5.1 and 7.1 is different, but 2.1 is just stereo. The ".1" just shows that there is a subwoofer present. If you card has a separate sub output, it may have a different setting for the sub, but that is pretty rare.

Also don't know why you think the front panel audio won't work, you just need to have it hooked up to the sound card header.

The third thing, this was started in the middle, was there an original issue?
