Looking at an all-in-one PC. Same PC offered in two flavors, Intel or AMD. Both have 4GB ram & 1TB HDD. I can get the i3 based PC for $130 less than the AMD PC. Would I see much difference in performance? Thanks.

the i3 is a stronger processor than the A8-5550m by far. And it's cheaper?! No brainer go with the i3

The only issue you may have is that the A8-5550m has better graphics than the i3 does, but you're not going to be playing games with either so it shouldn't matter.

Are you sure it has an A8-5550m? This is a mobile/laptop CPU but there is also an A8-5500 which is a desktop CPU.

If it uses the A8-5550m -- Take the i3. No doubt about it. Performance is better than the A8-5550m in almost every area, including graphics.

If it uses the A8-5500 -- I would still take the i3. They are both quite similar in performance and the $130 saving on the i3 too much to choose anything else.
