Solution
I think that your build is fine as it is. As stated, you could cut on the RAM, and get an SSD.
This is a preference, and you will not notice any performance gains.

Other people on the forum were saying that 16gb ram is needed if you want to record, is this the case or not?

Obviously 16 gb will give you more room, but my opinion is that an ssd will boost up your pc perfomance much more than a 8 more gb of ram in terms of system booting and applications lauching time...

I agree with your answer, but my suggestion was reffering to a more snappy experience. After the load of a program
a ssd does not offer anything more than a hdd
