Will a all in one cooler run dry?

Thinking of doing a all in one cooler, but since its a closed loop is it possible for the water to run dry in them, thus not cooling the cpu? If so how could this be avoided, and how often would it run try to the point of being useless/harmfull to my other components?

Since it is a sealed unit it should last for quite some time. I think the fans/pump would fail before you would have to worry about it running dry.

Agree with above, fan or pump will normally fail before you need to top up, but should get 3years plus out of them.

If a cpu gets too hot, it will shut down to protect itself.
The min problem is not the cooler running dry, but the damage that a leak can cause.

You can mod in coloured tubing, though it basically just involves getting normal water-cooling tube and cutting them open so you can hide the real tubes inside them.
Custom block, no. If you want that choice, get a custom loop.
