i need a Hard Drive for faster loading PC takes like 2 minuts to boot and 5 minutes to load my web browser i am using a 2.5 Western Digital Scorpio blue besides that games and other apps take 5-10 minutes so anyway this Hard Drive is failing it has like 5-10 thousand bad sector's

i need the new Hard Drive to...
Load everything fast
fast compression for my videos
play games faster
and something reliable and not fail in a year want something longer lasting
and decent storage

prefer a hard drive due to more storage

and

i have tried a Solid State Drive but it failed in 2 days and cost 140$
so i was pissed about that!!!

i would try 1 more time but i would need a reliable one 1 year+
2 days is to short for that kind of money

and i want good transfer speed i have multiple external hard drives and 5 more internal hard drives so i transfer 300-800 GB weekly and download 500 GB every 3 weeks or
so and the hard drives are Sata 3-6 GB/S and externals are using USB 3.0 but its not that fast from my hard drive to the external

price range 1-200$
as long as it does what i want

Await your reply

the ssd would be about 10 times faster in random reads and writes than the hdd. As you can see that harddrive is a 10k rpm 2.5 inch Laptop harddrive in a 3.5 inch cooling case. So its performance will be just above a 7200 rpm laptop drive. ie - a little better than what you have now (when it was working good). In my opinion, not worth the asking price.

I would suggest this but be aware that its a new product so how well it will hold up in the field has yet to be determined. Part ssd part HDD acting as one drive. (note: you do not have control over what gets stored in the ssd portion)
it has a 3 year warranty.2tb 7200rpm with averages over 150MB/S sustained transfer rates.

no its a desktop in a 2.5 inch bay on my case
and i have 7 bays total
as for the
samsung 840 EVO
250gb

do i store things on to this or onto one of my other Hard Drives because my friend said you should not store stuff on solid State Drive except an Operating Systems and most used aplications because it will wear the it down and make it fail? is that true?

and since i would be paying 192$ for it

would this one suite me be better

its a little more but its 1 TB 10k rpm now how much of a speed difference is there
between this one and a ssd ?

that sounds cool but i do not wan to try something new i would wait a year or 2 before i buy one of these and i don't have much luck with sea gate so many failed hard drives from them even though they were replaced still annoying waiting 2 weeks for a new one lol

anyway i found something simple with 7200 rpm 1 TB reasonable price to
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822236339
this one has 2 year warranty

and found this one which says more performance
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136533
and it has 5 year warranty

these seem like a decent price for good storage and decent speed compared to what i have
so should i go with black or blue?

and do these look good to you for what i am trying to use it for?

and thanks for the help thus far really appreciate it
