Hi, I have a dell precision Workstation 690 which runs on an old Nvidia Quadro 3850 Graphics card. I want to upgrade it to GeForce GTX 760/780. Is this compatible?

Sure, you should be fine. It may be bottlenecked a little by the Xeons, but they're compatible and I'm sure you'll see a noticeable difference. You could always get something a little older, GTX 500 or 600 series and save a few bucks, since the new ones capitalize on technology that your machine won't have...

Hi ACTechy,
Thanks for the quick response. I am infact looking for any GPU that is Cuda Compatible and gives good throughput for my machine than my old graphics card. I hope GTX 500/600 suffice for these requirements?

Sure, just look at the 660 or something like that. What CUDA accelerated stuff are you using?
