The HDD or SSD will make no difference in frame rate in games. That is wholly dependent upon processor, graphics card, and monitor resolution. What is your rez?

OK. Your CPU and GPU should be sufficient for that resolution. How much stuff do you have running in the background? Check System Configuration and let me know how many boxes are checked.

the 560ti isn't to bad of a card even though its fairly old, but it would probably be your processor that is causing causing the fps issues a lot of mmo's are cpu intensive like I have an amd system with similar specs to your processor for my guest pc that I built with spare parts.and the thing dips constantly and I switched the video card from it to another system i had using a old 950 i7 and I got a 50% increase in fps. The fps that you get in games can really be increase if you have a good solid processor maybe you could find a good deal on a 1150 motherboard and get a i5 4670k or even go with the fx processor from amd. I really have noticed mmo's like intel for some reason more than amd

Type system configuration in the text box (Start) and click on the link that pops up. Then open the start up tab. Don't forget to scroll if you have a lot.

That's not too bad. Still more than I like when gaming. But not too bad. If there's any you see that you recognize, uncheck them if you don't need them. Then run CCleaner just to be sure you don't have any Registry errors causing issues. And it will get rid of most resource wasting crap too.

Did you have any other card installed before the 560ti? I'm wondering if you have an old driver conflicting.

Let's try this to see if it's your system or your expectations that are the issue. When you have time, run 3DMarkVatage and let me know your P-score, GPU score, and CPU score. I'll compare it to one of my past builds I had with a GTX 560ti OC card and either a Phenom II X4 965 or an Athlon II X4 640 I had. That's about as close as I can come to matching your system.

I made a mistake. My card was a GTX 560 OC, not ti. But from the looks of the results, I'd say your system is running normal.

Phenon II X4 965BE (stock 3.4GHZ) and GTX 560 OC:
P score 14407
GPU 15787
CPU 11415

Is your Thuban the Black Edition? If so, it's really easy to O/C.

But in the end, eatmypie may be correct. Your processor may just be the weak link in those games if they are CPU intensive.

I dont think it is and if it is i dont know how to find it cuz it was 2 years ago i built it, but what would be a very good
upgrade for my cpu that would work well with the specs i got ?

With an AM3 socket, you'll have to look for a used faster Phenom II X4BE or a X6 BE. http://www.anandtech.com/bench/CPU/2

What about this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

No, the FX-6300 takes an AM3+ socket. Your MB has an AM3 socket. Here is the CPU support list for your MB: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M4A88TDV_EVOUSB3/#supp...

You could try overclocking the processor you have now. Is it the Black Edition version?
