I have a Compaq Presario SR1000 case that I'm making a new build inside of. But the case didn't even have a fan inside of it. Now I'm trying to figure out what size the case fan is supposed to be. I tried measuring HORIZONTALLY from one hole to another (where the case fan holes are), measuring from the outsides of both circles and it is about 90mm. But this wouldn't be the fan size. Any ideas? I can't seem to find an answer online about the case fan size for this case model and all the information I could find online about how to get the correct fan size assumed you already had a fan to begin with. :(

IT is 90 or 92mm. I bet it's 92, as most of those re Built Standard desktops use are around those sizes. 90 or 92.

I'd lean more towards 92 but I wish I could be certain. When I measured the holes on an 80mm fan it was about 78mm so I'm hoping that the same is true for the 92mm fan that its around 90mm. If its a rare 93mm fan I'll uppercut a midget. lol

Well, see if you can borrow or get a cheap or one not used 92mm fan and try. If too big, it's a 90mm.
