I needed to update the BIOS on a M5A97 R2.0 I just bought to work with the FX-6300. I was getting no display whatsoever so I tried doing a USB flashback update for the BIOS. I didn't know you were supposed to rename the file on the USB and initiated the flashback, and now the light has been steady green for over ten minutes. I heard that it was supposed to be flashing so I think I did something wrong. Should I still wait for the green light to turn off or what?

Solution
You can reflash the BIOS. Unzip, rename the file and save it on a FAT formatted USB stick.
Don't start the board, just make sure that the power supply is connected and on.
Connect the drive to the USB Flashback port and press the button for 3 seconds.
