Currently I am piecing a gaming build together on PCPartspicker.com, the graphics card I'm interested in buying is the XFX HD7970 3GB here. Currently I am able to obtain it in Canada where I am for about $300 after rebates and shipping. It also includes 4 games with it. From my understanding the new ATI Cards are likely to come out in October of this year. Regardless I'm thinking of buying this card even if they do come out, but should I wait anyway for the new cards to release? I would think that the price would drop on this current card, but I wouldn't know. What do you all recommend? Wait for the current price to go down more, get it now, or perhaps even consider the new cards should they come out?
I'm asking for more experienced opinions on my situation as this is my first build and I'm not the most experienced with it. What would all of you do?
