I recently completed a build (i5 3570k, HD 7870 graphics, 8gb RAM @ 1866mhz, 2tb HDD). And it performs fine under normal internet use, but when I start any game it crashes (blue screen) after about 2 minutes. Initially this only happened in certain games (Burnout: Paradise, Battlefield 3), and even then I was not getting the frame rate that I feel I should have. Crysis 3 on medium settings was at about 12 FPS, and that seems way too low for the hardware I have. I could hold 50 FPS on Garry's Mod, but now even that causes a blue-screen. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

Have you tried putting in a different video card or making sure the drivers are up to date? You could also take the video card and put it into another system running the same games to see if you can dupe. the crash. One other thing might be that your problem is that your 12V Rail isn't getting enough juice which you can find in your bios.

Unfortunately I don't have another system or video card to test on. I did check the drivers and they are up to date, and my 12v is fine at 12.3v.

You don't have a friend or somebody that you know that would put that video card in? Also you might wanna check your ram and run Memtest86. Make sure you run it as long as possible.
