My radeon 7770 came with a SLI cable (I have to admit that i think they were a little drunk when they shipped it lol) but my question is do the crossfire cables have different cables for different abilities or how does that work?

No a Crossfire cable is a Crossfire cable they are the same. Same goes for SLI cables on Nvidia.

Well Radeon sends crossfire cables with any card that is crossfire ready, and there is no specific cable for each card. the only thing you can't do is use a nvidia sli cable on two radeon cards. Radeon sends them out with every video card that is capable of running in crossfire and nvidia lets the motherboard manufactures send out their own cables for sli because sli cables are normally more specific in size for that board.

So my next question would be, is it hard to crossfire a Sapphire 7770 1 GHz Edition card? I've heard that this particular card is pretty hard to crossfire.

People have complained about micro stutter, I wold say if you really would like a improvement in fps go ahead but you will need to look into is my power supply good enough and is my motherboard crossfire ready

I have a 850 watt xfx power supply, along with an asus sabertooth 990fx r2.0, both come crossfire and SLI ready.

Yeah I mean you will see more performance but you might get some micro stutter some people get non, I probably would of just went with like a 7870 or 7950 for the price of the 2 cards but since you already have one here are the benchmarks http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://lanoc.org/im...

So how would this card compare to cross-firing 2x 7770, which is http://www.amazon.com/XFXAMD-Radeon-Display-PCI-Express... and actually the one sitting in my computer was DOA, there's no power to it even tho i tried 4 different PCI-E connections, even a PCI-E to a molex that i know works, thats why i am wondering if i should upgrade before it gets here and just send it back to amazon.

To be honest i only buy games if there on hard disc, i wipe my computer out too much to keep track of all the files, thats why the important ones and my music always goes on the external, i dont really care about the free games. Does this one stay pretty cool? I have the NZXT Switch 810, and i have like 10 fans including the 4 on the radiator (Kraken x60), do you think it will stay cool in a case like that? I have 2 exhausts on the case, one on the bottom (for the graphics card and one for the exhaust).

I think I've made my decision, right now i am not going to do extreme gaming (not until I get my fiances pc built) so i think until then i am going to stick with the 7770, and when i finally do upgrade hopefully the wait for the new line of Radeons will be worth it.

Yeah I mean the downloads are just one thing that comes with all amd cards I normally just pawn them off on friends, and xfx will definitely stay nice and cool probably like 60-65
