About a month ago I bought an ASUS Xonar DGX sound card. It worked fine for a while, but then I swapped my Carbide 400R for a an Air 540 case, and it conked out. I am using Sennheiser PC360 headphones with an attached mic and a pair of Bose speakers.

The strange part is that it worked fine for about 2 days, but now I can't even really explain the problem; the front panel audio detection just doesn't work, my headphones work but the microphone does not, and my speakers don't work either.

I've been forced to switch back to onboard audio, but even then my speakers still will not work, and I believe there is a problem with my microphone too. Also, my front audio panel i still not functioning!

Any solutions on what might be causing this problem or how to fix it using the DGX's atrocious software would be much appreciated! =)

My apologies but this is not an answer to previous writer, more likely an additional question;

I bought my Asus Xonar DGX just a few days ago.
I installed card, connected frontpanel connector to DGX. Installed drivers from CD.

Still I can hear sound and see my headset works properly ONLY from front panel. Tried all DGX rear sockets with headset jacks.

And even to add my pain, this front panel volume is very low even in highest settings. Front panel mic works ok with my headset.

What I have done wrong?

System:
MoBo: Asus P5P77D
Core: Intel i5 quad 2.67GHz LGA1156
RAM: 4,0 Gb
OS: Win7 Home prem 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601)
Direct-X 11

dxdiag sees no problems in audio tabs.
Can anyone help me?
